Still River Lacrosse (SRL) is focused on developing players who have a desire to take their skills to the next level. Our program is designed around identifying a select number of players through coach recommendations; providing focused instruction to enhance individual player knowledge and skills; and then exercising that ability through game competition. While most programs use the summer season as an opportunity to make a quick buck by providing an opportunity to play lacrosse, the SRL program is different. We realize that many programs hold team try-outs that require you to pay a fee to participate. This money making opportunity is not in the spirit of what SRL is about. We scout and take coach recommendations then hold player evaluations for proper team placement all of this is FREE.
Still River Lacrosse is looking for players who have the strong desire to be better and are willing to put in the time and effort to get there. Therefore the majority of our players are through coach recommendations. However, if you are interested in being considered for the Still River Lacrosse program, feel free to contact us. We will then set up some time to talk to you and your coach(es) to understand your lacrosse goals and determine how SRL can get you there. Remember, great teams are built during the season.... but great players are made during the off-season. Summer is the best time to prepare yourself for the next spring's season by focusing on individual skill improvement, supplemented through tournament play.
